The Shape of the Universe, Space, Time, and His Heart

Updated: Feb 24

I really love the saying that has been said many different ways before but boy is it true, “Condemnation without investigation is the height of foolishness” this version can be credited to Benjamin Franklin. I was taught that the Jewish scribe, Nachmonides, 1194 – 1270 A.D., concluded after careful study of the Tanak, the Jewish Bible, that we live in at least 10 dimensions—with 4 out 6 of them accessible to humans. I go back to the very first verses of The Bible, in Genesis, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth” (Genesis, 1:1). When reading this we can deduct the truth that we indeed experience and live in four dimensions. “In the beginning…” accounts for time, but does it account for more than that? I believe it does and accounts for space, too. But, more on that later. So, we have one dimension. Then, “God created the heavens” which accounts for space and adds three more dimensions to our list: length, width, and height; finally, we have “and the earth” which is matter, the elements, etc. As with ancient Jewish law, there needs to be two or more witnesses to a matter, right? Paul wrote:

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and

grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth,

and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes all

knowledge; that you may be filled with the fullness of God”. (Ephesians 3: 17-19).

Did you catch that? I want to think that Paul had an insight into our reality. He eludes to a four-dimensional reality, as he wrote “breadth [width]”, “length”, “depth”, and “height”. Again, the new testament was written in Greek; there is no need to explain width, length, and height as their Greek equivalents translate to ours in English. However, I really wanted to share what I found out about the ancient Greek word regarding depth. The Greek word for depth here is βάθος which can be translated to fullness, immensity, depth, or an extreme degree. Something to think about for later.

But, let’s go back to, “In the beginning” as one dimension and “the heavens” as three other dimensions. Astrophysicists discovered that space and time are so closely related to each other they have come up with mathematical models that deal with spacetime. Spacetime describes an object that occupies the same space and time. Time adds another exponent, another dimension to our reality, as we are trained to mistakenly think of the world around us in terms of 3 dimensions. We live in a 4-dimensional reality where space and time are physical properties. This reminds me of a story about Einstien.

We credit Einstein with creating the calculation for the Special Theory of Relativity and super genius hero of the 1900s. However, he was not always viewed as a revered physicist. He was regarded as a “goof-off” by his educators, as Einstein loved to understand the world through experimentation, music, and daydreaming. His first job was a patent clerk, where he would finish his paperwork expeditiously then spend the rest of his time pondering the universe. One day, he was looking at a clocktower and wondered what would happen if he was moving away from the clock at the speed of light. He imaged that the hands of the clock would begin to appear to slow down as he approached the speed of light. The hands would appear to slow because the light reflecting off of the clock racing back at him would reach his eyes’ at a slower rate. As he imagined reaching the light the clock hands would stop. Once exceeding the speed of light, Einstein envisioned that the clock hands would then begin to turn to the left instead rather than right—as he traveled faster than the speed of light he would be moving backward in time and space! He was inspired to write his special theory of relativity. However, he was disregarded for his ideas for years until the establishment finally had to accept them. What other deeply held beliefs are out there that we were fed by the recent establishments that are simply untrue?

For one, I was taught throughout middle and high school that the sum of all the angles in any triangle would always equate to 180 degrees—period! No ifs, ands, or buts about it. How about you all? But, what if I were to tell you I can not only create but show you a triangle that had more than 180 degrees? Would you think, “Justin. You and your stupid ideas. First, there were giants what next? An honest politician? Impossible!” I would show you a triangle that I made out of sticks. Then I would manipulate that triangle to have 90 degree right angles and then fit it around a ball. We would get a triangle that would have a total of up to 270 degrees. Or, I would show you a triangle that accounted for the curvature of the Earth—a three-dimensional triangle/simplex.

In many ways we are conditioned to incorrectly think about our world in terms of Euclidian Geometrical concepts, which accounts for only two dimensions. However, we don’t live in two dimensions. Einstein was conditioned to believe that we lived in 3 dimensions, unfortunately, he left this world confounded by certain equations that didn’t work out. He knew something was missing from them; however, if he only raised the equation to a higher exponent, added another dimension, Einstein would have solved said equations as did his successors—after they brought the question past the 3rd power/dimension—once they began thinking in terms of hyperspaces.

Okay, so what does this have to do with anything? I think that if we can understand the nature of our reality, universe, and physics then it will be easier to accept the proclamations of the Bible. It will help us understand more about the Creator of the Universe—who comes from the hyperspaces/higher dimensions—but, is also here on Earth as the Holy Spirit. It’s good to have the faith of a child, but it’s also good to understand how things work. In other words, it’s good to have faith and knowledge at the same time. It’s good to know science to help us not only understand how amazing El Saddai is, but to be ready to have an argument or answer to those who ask us about our faith in Jesus Christ; furthermore, it’s required that we believers know our stuff, “But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge…” (2 Peter 1:5).

I think in order to understand the reality of our existence and the nature of El Saddai is to understand that He lives outside time and space and can manipulate our physical dimension. So, where does it say that space and time are physical in the Bible? In The Revelation it reads, “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled up” (Revelations 6:14). The word heaven here is “οὐρανός” “ouranos” and it translates in English to “the atmosphere”, “sky”, and “starry heavens”. In other words, space; again, there is another example that space and time are physical properties in our dimension in 2nd Peter. We have the verse that reads, “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat…” (2nd Peter 3:10). The word for heavens here is “οὐρανοὶ” ouranoi, the plural form of ouranos. So, the space in the sky “heavens” will come to an abrupt end in a sudden explosion of intense heat and energy—perhaps just like when Elohim/The Trinity said, “Let there be light” (Genesis, 1:14). According to the Bible, God can burn space. He can compress and “rolled up” space and time. Space can even be stretched. We can understand that while Elohim is busy watching over us, taking care of our needs, and planning good for our lives’. He’s also busy at work maintaining and growing His creation. In the Book of Job, they talk about when El Gibbor maintains the universe that, “He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing” (Job, 26:7). What’s even more interesting, is that astrophysicists commonly refer to the fabric of the Universe as both time and space; according to the book of Isaiah, “It is He who sits about the circle of the earth…Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in” (Isaiah, 40: 22). What does it mean in the previous sentences that space is like a tent? When we consider the tents made out of being like a fabric of a tent that is curved, pointed in one direction at its apex, and the cloth came down towards the Earth, we all have seen a tent no duh. However, I wanted to understand what the ancient tents looked like when Isaiah wrote this. The model that I found online blew me away when comparing it to the model of what our Universe, in terms of spacetime, looks like and how it’s shaped. One model of the universe suggests that the universe is curved according to general relativity, when we look at the models it’s shocking to see how closely it looks to just how the Bible describes it.

Fig 1 Showing the tent-like or cronelike suggested shape of space and time as it stretches from its point of creating/origin (MEXT of Japan, 2012)

Let’s compare the model to what an ancient Jewish or Israelite tent looked could have looked like.

Fig 2 Representation of Ancient Israeli and Jewish tents (Wight, n.d.).

Let’s invert either the tent picture or the model of the universe picture. Do you see any similarities? Just something to think about. Of course, there were many different types of tents, but regardless, the description of the shape of time, space, and the Universe is metaphysically accurate!

God claims to live in Eternity. He claims to not be affected by our dimensions. Time and space do not affect Him but He controls them. Ever wonder how God can be all-knowing, claim to know the future and the past, and as well as be omnipresent? We went over how space is a physical property and that time and space are closely related. Let me demonstrate how time is part of our dimension and how time can be manipulated—as well as how we perceive and experience time.

Time Dilation

What the Bible is describing is Time-Dilation regarding general relativity. Time moves faster the closer it is to gravitational pull; time moves slower the farther away it is from gravity. Have you heard of the Twins Paradox? If not, I recommend you look into it—fascinating; but, in brief, theoretically, if two twins take part in an experiment where one is sent to the nearest star, Alpha Centauri, which is 4.5 light-years away, traveling at 50% of the speed of light, it would take him 18 years our time. So, from start to finish he would take 9 years to get to the star, turn around, and 9 years to come back. However, for the twin on the highspeed shuttle, the amount of time that would pass for him would be approximately 15 years and 7 months. Yes, that’s right. The returning twin brother would come back 2.5 years younger than his twin! However, at a slower rate of speed time dilation has been proven factual.

We can also look to an actual experiment conducted with cesium clocks to prove that time is a physical property and we can manipulate how we experience it. A physicist by the name of Joseph Hafele and an astronomer named Richard Keating experimented with cesium-beam atomic clocks by flying them around the earth. One went Eastward and the other Westward. They compared the results to U.S. Naval Observatory atomic time scale; the results were that time aboard the two aircraft had indeed slowed down compared to time experienced on the earth (, n.d.)! So, in other words, gravity bends space and also bends time.

Space is affected by gravitational pull and bends to conform around objects within it. Imagine space as a bedsheet that we stretch out at four corners and tie to four posts. Then we get ourselves a slightly heavy ball and a lighter ball. Now, we place a large ball in the middle of the bed so that it creates a dip around the middle of the sheet but leaves the edges of the sheet flat. What would happen if we roll a tennis ball along the edge of the bed? It will roll right past the ball perhaps losing some speed due to friction against the sheet but not too much depending on how hard we roll it. But, say we roll the same ball somewhat closer to the dip in the sheet—closer to the center where the heavier ball is located. The tennis ball might slow down a little, being affected by the dip in the space of the mattress, and maybe veer off course but still roll past the bigger ball but will likely curve off to the side. Then, pick a path that will be greatly affected by the dip in the mattress. Roll the tennis ball and see how it will follow the dip in the mattress caused by the space of the heavier ball. The ball will be drawn close to it. In space, objects that fly unadulterated by gravity experience time at a faster rate. Objects that fly closer to a massive object will experience very heavy gravitational pull and time will pass slower for them—the movie Interstellar does a great job in conceptualizing this. We, properly assuming God is all-powerful and could manipulate the physical world as the Bible says He can, then it’s easy to understand that El Gibbor could bend space. All he has to do is place a singularity or massive planet in space to effectively bend time. This could be a perfect explanation about how we all will be called up in the air and meet the Lord at the same time; it would explain how some interpret being absent of the body is to be present with the Lord and how every believer could meet up at heaven at the very same time at the point of leaving earth. Theoretically, someone can pass on from Earth hundreds of years ago, depending on what sort of gravity their spirit encounters, and arrive at the same point in heaven as someone who passes from this Earth after reading this article depending on how quickly their spirit is moved through the dimensions. This will make more sense when we look at photons later. Look up passing through wormholes and or getting sucked into a massive black hole—yes, there are different sizes of black holes. When we consider that God exists in these hyperspaces He can see time, events, and history all at once: past, present, and future. It becomes much easier to accept the claims in the Bible conscientiously/logically and not just based on faith if we start thinking in terms of God existing in (and possibly creating) hyperspaces. It makes more sense how God could predict the future because where He is, outside time and space, He can not only see into the past present, and future but manipulate spacetime as well!

Fig 3 Model object being drawn into orbit around a massive object that cures spacetime around it.

Also, it is hard for the human mind to understand how He can do what He does. Speak words into existence. And, since we are bound by our flesh and humanity, we "see dimly as through a mirror". Yet, if we can understand that God exists outside of the 4 dimensions, He can do things that we would consider a miracle, and it makes more sense how the laws of our reality do not affect Him. We can better understand how He can make the claim to be able to manipulate space, time, and energy—as well as see into our future. We can better understand how El Saddai can claim to know all things. A dope little discovery that I found out is understanding the nature of photons—light.

Invisible Finger Prints, Attributes in Plain Sight

In Romans, the Apostle Paul wrote, "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead..."(Romans, 1:20). What Paul is saying is that we can find evidence of God's attributes and observing the natural world in all it's forms. Forget all this misinformation and disinformation that science has no place for God, as a majority of the founding fathers of hard sciences were both devout men and women of God and scientists. Look into Robert Boyle, Antoine Lavoiseier, Leonhard Euler, Micahel Faraday, James C. Maxwell, Gregor Mendel, Arthur Compton, Ronald Fisher, George Lemaire, Isaac Newton, Charles Townes, Mary Anning, Willard Gibbs, and my hero Dr. Chuck Missler. You can visit the link and see for yourself, as always don't just take my word for it. Study it. Come to your own conclusion. With that in mind, I want to look at some minuscule, invisible, components to our dimension that play a huge part in our reality. I am referring to photons.

Thanks be to El Saddai that He showed our Christian scientist mentioned earlier, Arthur Compton, that photons behave as both waves and particles. We now know that photons "are the fundamental particle of light” (Jessa, 2010). Yet, they can also be invisible (Bitzenbauer, 2021). What does that mean? We need to understand that electromagnetic energy is is radiant energy, travels at the speed of light, and can be described as light despite being invisible to the eye. Ever hear that there are colors in heaven that we cannot understand because we can't see them? I believe that when Adam and Eve sinned, they were cut off from the higher dimensions, and were clothed with light (more on that in other writings); just like, when before the Nacash/Samael/Lucifer fell, he lost twelve sacred lights/stones (more on that later) that we see represented on the breastplate of the Jewish high priest. But, I digress, I was referring to invisible light that plays a factor in our everyday lives'. These lights are UV rays, Infrared, X-rays, Gamma rays, Radar, FM radio, etc. Photons are are the carriers of electromagnetic force (, n.d.). We now know that photons/light can travel back and forth through time (Russon, 2016). Photons know what all other photons are doing (, 2009). Also, photons do not have what is called locality (Hessmo, et al. 2001)—they can be everywhere at once yet have no mass. They fade in and out of our existence/dimensions seemingly at will (McCormick, 2020). It is safe to say, that without these little light photons the universe as we know it, and life, would cease to exist on our plane! Do you know who else claims to be able to do that in the Scriptures? God the Father/El Saddai, the Son/El Gibbor, the Holy Spirit/Rauch HaKodesh are all said to be able to do the aforementioned. Do you know who called Himself, Light? Jesus Christ did (John, 12:35). In the book of John, it says it clearly that all things were made through Lord Jesus. He made time and space (John 1:1), “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was with God”. All things consist through Him, and there was nothing created without Him (John 1:3). He has everything under control. There is nothing that is impossible for God to do or undo. I think that while He is maintaining the whole of the universe from the largest of celestial bodies to the smallest atoms and even smaller quirks, Jesus Christ is praying for you, longing to be with His Bride, and eager to commune with you.

With all that in mind, I was sitting thinking about what I took away from my lessons and research. Well, let me remind you something. I am not one to tell you to do anything. In fact, I’m not trying to sell you anything. Take my notes for what they are worth, self-study, and come to your own conclusions. I am not feeling very well as I write this and will go get a rapid response test in the morning. In fact, it’s easy to get discouraged just about everything from consecutive poor leadership in government, continued government overreach, the state of societal decay around us, and how it’s affecting you personally. I will tell you. God is outside of time. He sees how it will all end. Good triumphs over evil. All on God's team wins in the end. So, I am not ordering you to do anything. Rather, I would encourage you, to try and take up a special state of mind. I was taught to think this way. God says what He means and means what He says. So, I want to try my hardest to take Him up on His word when He says:

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will

drink; nor about your body, what you will put on… Look at the birds of the air, for they

neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are

you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his

stature? So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they

grow: they neither toil nor spin… Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which

today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O

you of little faith?” (Matthew, 6:25-30).

If there was anyone who had read this blog, I sincerely apologize. I made a mistake in my notes and corrected the error.
